Starfish Ad Age Longview Tyler Texas Programmatic Ad Agency Dallas Shreveport

Abel Sanchez

C0-Founder / CEO

My name is Abel Sanchez and I am the Co-Founder & CEO of Starfish Ad Age. My journey to Starfish began in 2016, after I moved my family to Tyler from Eagle Pass. I saw an opportunity to help businesses and agencies understand the complexity of programmatic ads. Our goal was simple; educate not only my team, but our clients as well. But when I’m not helping our clients build a solid digital presence, I love to BBQ, hunt, and spend time with my family.

Mindy Lewellen

Programmatic Sales Director

I am Mindy and I work as the Director of Sales here at Starfish. I started out my career early, owning and managing multiple businesses. Trying to get through college during 3 pregnancies was not an easy task, but I managed to finish school, and became a successful entrepreneur. At 24 years old I was operating my own freelance makeup and modeling career. By the age of 26, I owned a talent agency franchise and had created my own makeup branding. Now at 29, I am the Sales Director for Starfish Ad Age by day and ETB Pinup Brand Ambassador, internationally published model, and owner of Black Bones Beauty by night. I work 7 days a week because success does not have time off. I have a wonderful blended family with my husband Benjamin, my 3 beautiful children and my step son. My business success can attributed to wonderful realm of digital networking which is what has driven my passion for Digital Marketing and Advertising.

Tanya Clary

Social Media Director

My name is Tanya and I am the Social Media Director for Starfish. I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from The University of Texas at Tyler. I work diligently and carefully to foster a safe work environment with open communication. I believe that social media can be used in a positive way and so, each year, I choose one focus for the year and create my own hashtag. My focused thought for 2019 is "Love Is" and I am learning a lot about it. Jesus' great love and sacrifice throughout His life, death, and resurrection is what inspires me to do the same. #LoveIs2019

Marcie Pink

My name is Marcie and I am one of the Social Media Coordinators here. I have worked in Radio/Digital Media since 2004.. Throughout this time, I have seen an almost 180° approach to the value of “on-air spots” vs “digital.”  I really enjoy watching all of the pieces to a campaign fall together achieving the desired outcome. This digital canvas can seem complex but like when tasked with eating an elephant “just take one bite at a time.”

Every day I get to roll into work and create magic with keystrokes, pretty boss. We are a tight knit group, all rallying for the same results which seems uncommon in the year 2019.  I am lucky enough to work with great people who will allow the unseen, obnoxious squirrels in my head run amok and full speed into a campaign. I wince a little when friends cast a negative shadow on digital prosperity as it’s a matter of perspective, and why not find the “win?” I have seen the human spirit shine as we utilize these methods to connect, learn and grow.  I belong to a single moms facebook group with the intent of the sisterhood raising up the sisterhood. In this group I see women all over the United States build each other up and sing each other’s praises. I have been able to remain in contact with people as they move away, therefore keeping our worlds bigger. I feel like we (at Starfish) carry the responsibility of stewarding this crazy ride in the digital total wave with honor and respect. I grew up in North BC (Canada).  I have five children, the youngest baby bear graduates this June. I am proud of the life I have built for myself and I am even more proud to continue learning and growing in my career.

Caroline Herman

Content / Social

My name is Caroline and I am one of the Social Media Coordinators, as well as the main content writer for Starfish. I am the youngest one of the staff members, but that doesn’t stop me from working just as hard as the rest of the team. I have always loved to read and write and that was a huge factor in my career choice. In my spare time, I like to sing and play the guitar and ukulele. I placed 3rd in the state as a part of a music competition through my college in 2018. As far as my future, I want to continue to grow in my career. I plan to graduate from TJC in 2021 with an AAS in Communications and continue my education at UT Tyler.
